Hello there, my name is Dave Hearne

I am an aspiring web developer, graphic designer and programmer. This page is just a temporary portfolio page until I get a chance to change it. I have recently graduated from WIT with an honours degree in multimedia and I am now deciding what to do with myself. I am now doing a masters in Interactive media in UCC

At the moment I am working on a few different websites, trying to find time to fit them all in, but I love a challange and with every website I am learning something new, which is great!

If you would like to see some of my work please visit Lemon and Lime Design

Anyway, a few things that I have learned in college and in my own time are listed below:

  • CSS and XHTML:Know alot but learning a lot more at the moment designing these websites.
  • JavaScript: Using liteBox, Moofx, Tinymce and learning how to write some.
  • Ruby on Rails: All the websites I am creating at the moment run on Ruby on Rails
  • JSP: Learned a lot of java and JSP over the last four years in college.
  • Photoshop and Illustrator:I can't really go a day without using either, know a lot on these.
  • Web Accessibility:Something i find very important, search engine optimization and usability

Anyway on with some of my graphic design work:
